Fruit, warming spice and toasted oak lead, with sherry-cask richness running through it. The palate is full and silky, balancing fruity sweetness with a gentle spicy edge. Fruit and oak linger on the long finish. Twelve years in bourbon and sherry casks, and clearly no time wasted.

Worth knowing

Redbreast is made from both malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills. That mix of grains is a hallmark of Ireland’s single pot still whiskey tradition.

How to enjoy it

Start neat, then try a few drops of water to explore how the flavours change. A large ice cube works too.
